How to update DNS records in Plesk

This article explains how to update your DNS records in the Plesk web hosting control panel. These instructions were created using Plesk Obsidian Version 18.

1. Login to the Plesk control panel provided by your hosting company.
2. Click Domains in the sidebar menu
   
   
3. Click on your domain name
4. Click the Hosting & DNS tab
5. Click DNS Settings
   
   
6. Delete all existing MX records by selecting them and clicking Remove
   
   
7. Click Add Record
   
   
   
8. Change the Record type to MX
9. Leave "Mail domain" and "TTL" blank
10. In "Mail exchange server", enter the MX record provided by MXGuardian
11. In "Specify the priority of the mail exchange server", select very high (0)
12. Click OK
13. Click Update to save the changes
